SHAMROCK SECRETS

Thursday night, the BGI staff released a loaded edition of Shamrock Secrets. The insider report included notes on five-star guard Jamaree Salyer, four-star rover Shayne Simon, four-star defensive tackle Jacob Lacey, and many more. If you missed it, you can read it right HERE.

IRISH MAKE MOVE WITH TREMBLE

The Skinny: The talented tight end made his first trip to Notre Dame on Wednesday and came away very impressed with the Irish program. Tremble came away impressed with offensive coordinator Chip Long and his use of tight ends. The three-star also mentioned to Blue & Gold the Irish "may be" his top school following the visit. Even after landing an elite haul in 2017 and already having Rivals250 talent George Takacs in 2018, the Irish would like to add another tight end in the class and Tremble is a top target. You can read more about his visit HERE.

NEW OFFERS

The Skinny: Woodie picked up his offer from the Irish on Monday after a conference call with his parents and running backs coach Autry Denson. Woodie was fired up to land the offer, and said he and Denson hit it off instantly. A visit to South Bend is definitely in the works, and could very well happen at some point during the 2017 season. You can read more on Woodie's reaction to his offer HERE.

The Skinny: Head coach Brian Kelly personally offered Olmstead during his weekend visit to Notre Dame. The fact that the head coach was the one who offered him resonated with Olmstead, who left South Bend impressed with what he'd seen. Olmstead participated in the lineman camp on Saturday, and said getting to work with offensive line coach Harry Hiestand was a great experience. The four-star said he will definitely be looking into Notre Dame further going forward. You can read more on Olmstead's reaction to his Irish offer HERE.

The Skinny: Smith picked up his offer during a weekend visit/camp in South Bend. Kelly also personally offered Smith, and said he's excited about the kind of future Notre Dame can provide him. The young four-star spent time working out with linebackers coach Clark Lea, and said he impressed with Lea's fire and passion for the game. Smith is a fan of what Notre Dame has to offer, and was high on the Irish heading out of the visit. You can read more on Smith's reaction to the offer HERE.

The Skinny: Notre Dame offered Johnson following the Lineman's Challenge camp on Saturday. Before the offer Johnson told Blue & Gold that he had not been in much contact with the Irish, but they were one of his favorites. Notre Dame will be a contender in the talented defensive lineman's recruitment moving forward. Johnson also holds offers from West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Iowa and Cincinnati, among others. Stay tuned to Blue & Gold for further updates on Johnson and his interest in the Irish.

The Skinny: Notre Dame also offered Smith following the lineman camp on Saturday after the staff saw him in-person. The camp was Smith's third time at Notre Dame with his first two being the Michigan State game last fall and this past March. Smith is one of the nation's top defensive tackles in the 2019 class and holds offers from Alabama, Wisconsin, Louisville and Kentucky, among others. He is the fifth defensive tackle in the 2019 class to land an Irish offer.

The Skinny: Pyne made his way to South Bend on Friday and had the chance to throw in front of quarterbacks coach Tommy Rees. The performance ultimately led to Pyne landing an offer from the Irish on Saturday. Pyne is the first quarterback in the 2020 class to land an Irish offer and the fourth player overall.
