Notre Dame Recruiting Road Trip Wrap-Up: Day Two In Georgia

BGI was on the road again Tuesday, continuing our trip visits with Notre Dame prospects all throughout the Atlanta area.

The first stop Tuesday morning was at Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett to meet with three-stat offensive lineman Warren Ericson.

Ericson likes Notre Dame a good bit, and hopes to eventually take a trip to South Bend for a visit. Read some notes on the meeting with Ericson HERE.

In a video interview, Ericson talked about his relationship with Irish offensive line coach Harry Hiestand, as well as what he likes about Notre Dame.

Ericson, who currently holds a total of 20 offers, said the motivation to become the player he is today came from a particularly poor performance during his sophomore season. You can read about that HERE.

The second stop of the day was at Duluth (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian to meet with four-star athlete Kyler McMichael and 2019 offensive lineman Chris Hinton.

Hinton will visit Notre Dame this weekend for the Irish's sophomore day. In the video below, Hinton talks about the upcoming visit, and his hopes of landing an offer from Notre Dame.

McMichael, who Notre Dame is recruiting as a cornerback, has said before that he's interested in taking a visit to South Bend at some point. He maintained that notion Tuesday, However, the four-star admitted that contact with the Irish coaching staff has fallen off a bit recently.
