Notre Dame Ranked 19th Entering Final Week

Notre Dame moved up two spots in the Associated Press poll on Monday.

The Irish are ranked 19th nationally heading into their final two regular season games. Head coach Mike Brey’s team hosts Boston College on Wednesday (8 p.m.) before traveling to No. 8 Louisville on Saturday.

Notre Dame is one of seven ranked ACC teams: North Carolina (No. 5), Louisville (No. 8), Florida State (No. 15) and Duke (No. 17) are all ranked ahead of the Fighting Irish. Virginia (No. 23) and Miami (No. 25) are also in the top 25.

The Irish (22-7, 11-5 ACC) are 3-6 against teams that are currently ranked.

Notre Dame has won five straight games after beating unranked Georgia Tech 64-60 on Sunday night.
