Notre Dame Offers Three-Star Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu
Notre Dame extended yet another 2017 offer Thursday night.
This one went to Hampton (Va.) Bethel three-star outside linebacker Jeremiah Owusu, who is currently committed to Virginia.
He will take an official visit to Notre Dame Jan. 26-28.
Owusu committed to the Cavaliers Oct. 23 over offers from Vanderbilt, North Carolina State, Wake Forest and others. He was offered by Michigan State Dec. 12 and is slated to take an official visit there this weekend.
According to Owusu, he had been in contact with Notre Dame for a few days before the offer, but the staff reportedly told him they weren’t sure if they had room for him.
Obviously that was cleared up recently as the offer came.
The 6-2, 188-pound Owusu is rated by Rivals as the No. 18 player in Virginia and the No. 40 outside linebacker nationally in the class of 2017.
