Per his Twitter, Notre Dame has extended an offer to Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Blackman three-star running back Master Teague.

The 5-11, 200-pounder ranks as the No. 28 RB in the class and holds offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and others.

In April, Teague told Blue & Gold Notre Dame was a program he would be interested in if he were to receive an offer.

“It would be great to get an offer from them because it is a great program,” Teague said. “I have definitely heard about them even though I didn't watch much growing up…. I would consider them if they offered. Getting to know the coaches would make me want to take a deeper look.”

Teague put up big numbers as a junior rushing for 2,031 yards and 24 touchdowns on 242 carries.

"I am a leader especially by example,” Teague said last month. “I like to work hard, I am fast and I am not a juking type of back. I am a one cut and go type of back. I try to get to the end zone as fast as I can.

“I can run around you, past you or through you. I have been told that there is only three, maybe five other backs that can do what I do. These things are a blessing from God, so I play for Him.”
