Notre Dame Offers Penn State DB Commit Isaiah Humphries

Adding to the current defensive back haul of Rivals100 talents Derrik Allen and Kalon Gervin is a goal for the Irish staff the rest of the cycle.

Another potential target has emerged for Notre Dame. Per his Twitter, Notre Dame has extended an offer to Sachse (Texas) three-star safety Isaiah Humphries.

Humphries committed to Penn State on Dec. 31 over offers from Cal, Colorado, Indiana, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Utah and Vanderbilt, which he listed as part of his top 8 schools along with Penn State.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder is ranked as the No. 34 safety in the class and the No. 74 player in Texas.

During his junior season Humphries recorded 51 tackles, five interceptions and two forced fumbles. He returned an interception and a fumble recovery for a touchdown as well.
