Notre Dame Offers Georgia RB Christian Turner
Notre Dame already has a talented running back committed in the 2018 class in Indianapolis Cathedral Rivals250 member Markese Stepp.
After landing another Rivals250 talent in the 2017 class in Cheshire (Conn.) Academy product C.J. Holmes, the Irish will look to take two running backs this cycle. The staff expanded the board Tuesday night by offering Buford (Ga.) High three-star running back Christian Turner.
Notre Dame joins the likes of Michigan, Miami (Fla.), Tennessee, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Louisville and Northwestern, among others, to have offered the junior.
The 5-10, 180-pound Turner is ranked as the No. 31 player in Georgia and the No. 21 running back in the country.
Turner helped lead Buford to a Class 5A state championship game appearance this past season. He is the sixth running back Notre Dame has offered so far this class.
