Notre Dame has been expanding the 2018 recruiting board recently, and continued doing so tonight.
Isaah Crocker, a four-star receiver Tweeted that he has been offered by the Irish, the second offer of the night for the Notre Dame coaching staff.
Crocker told BGI that he started communicating with special teams coordinator Brian Polian last week, and was impressed with the conversations with him.
"I think he’s a great coach," Crocker said of Polian. "When he talked to me he seemed pretty interested and told me that they’re really looking forward to offering me. They really like my film a lot, and he said we’re going to build on the relationship between us so I can possibly get out there for a visit."
With the offer, Notre Dame joins Cal, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA and USC and Wyoming in the race to land Crocker.
Before the offer, Crocker said he would definitely like to visit South Bend, and now that the offer has come, a visit is in order.
"It’s just the experience with the school," Crocker said. "Plus I’ve never been to the east, so that would be a good experience for me to get out and explore the college life, especially at Notre Dame."
Crocker is the 18th wide receiver to be offered by Notre Dame in the class of 2018.
