Notre Dame is still on the hunt to find a second running back in the class of 2018, one that can compliment four-star commit Markese Stepp.

The Irish extended another offer at the position Wednesday, this one going to Lavonte Valentine of Melbourne (Fla.) Central Catholic.

Valentine, a three-star prospect, also holds from offers Florida, Kentucky, Navy, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, USC and others.

According to his Hudl, Valentine had 1,059 all-purpose yards as a junior, rushing for 884 yards while adding 10 receptions for 175 yards and two touchdowns.

Valentine is the 10th running back to be offered by Notre Dame in the class of 2018.
