Notre Dame Offers 2019 Texas DE Hunter Spears

Sachse (Texas) High 2019 defensive end Hunter Spears picked up an offer from Notre Dame Friday morning (Rivals.com)

Per his Twitter, Notre Dame has extended an offer to Sachse (Texas) 2019 defensive end Hunter Spears.

The 6-5, 260-pounder also holds offers from Alabama, Illinois, Houston, Texas Tech and Rice.

According to MaxPreps, Spears recorded 57 total tackles as a sophomore in 2016, including 11 tackles for a loss and four sacks, while also causing two fumbles and recovering one.

Spears is the 8th DE in the 2019 class to earn an offer from the Irish.
