After striking in Tennessee in the 2018 cycle along the trenches with Brentwood (Tenn.) High tackle Cole Mabry, the Irish are looking to do the same in the 2019 cycle.

Per his Twitter, Notre Dame has extended an offer to Memphis (Tenn.) Christian Brothers 2019 defensive lineman William Norton.

The 6-6, 265-pounder also holds offers from Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Missouri and others.

Norton ranks as the No. 29 offensive tackle in the 2019 class and the No. 13 player in the state of Tennessee. But, the three-star prospect said he is a defensive lineman on Twitter.

Notre Dame offered two other juniors today before Norton: offensive tackle Saleem Wormley of Smyrna (Del.) High and Seminary (Miss.) Seminary School defensive lineman Nathan Pickering.
