Notre Dame Offers 2019 Tennessee DB Wesley Walker

Notre Dame has sent out a flurry of 2019 offers this week with cornerback Wesley Walker of Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth being the latest recipient of the staff's early attempt with the class.

The 6-foot, 187-pounder also has offers from LSU, Tennessee, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

Walker is the third 2019 offer of the day following Dallas Bishop Dunne teammates defensive back Brian Williams and wide receiver Marquez Beason.

The Notre Dame staff is trying to get a head start on the sophomore class with this latest string of offers. The staff is not only putting in a ton of work in the current 2018 class, but also attempting to make early moves with the 2019 class.

It remains to be seen whether the early offers will pay off in the long run, but it doesn't hurt as the process goes on that Notre Dame can say they were one of the first few programs to recognize the respective player's talents.
