Notre Dame extended an offer to 2018 cornerback Taiyon Palmer of Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer earlier this afternoon and the Irish are now on the offer board for the 2019 class.
Per Rivals analyst Woody Wommack, Notre Dame has offered Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Blackman 2019 wide receiver Trey Knox.
The 6-5, 218-pounder is ranked by Rivals as the No. 8 wide receiver and No. 46 overall player in the 2019 class.
Knox also holds offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech, among others.
According to MaxPreps, Knox caught 52 passes for 667 yards and five touchdowns this season.
Knox was invited to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge this summer and made an impression on the Rivals analysts in attendance.
“Knox is huge and has big, reliable hands,” Rivals recruiting director Mike Farrell wrote. “Will he be a big receiver or grow into a tight end? It doesn’t matter much. He will catch a ton of passes either way.”
