Notre Dame has extended an offer to a 2019 defensive end for the second-straight day with Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Siegel product Joseph Anderson adding the Irish to an impressive early list, according to Southeast analyst Woody Wommack.

The sophomore now holds offers from Notre Dame, Georgia, LSU, Louisville, Ole Miss, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

The Irish also extended an offer yesterday to one of the top defensive ends and players in the 2019 class in Los Angeles Dorsey talent Kayvon Thibodeaux.

Anderson is offer No. 12 for the staff in the 2019 class and one of four out to players currently listed as defensive ends. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder also played tight end for his Siegel team this past season.

According to his Hudl, Anderson runs a 4.8 40-yard dash and possesses a bench press of 315 pounds and a squat of 360 pounds. Stay tuned to Blue & Gold for more updates on Anderson and his thoughts on the Irish offer.
