Notre Dame continues to extend offers to 2017 prospects committed elsewhere.
San Diego Cathedral Catholic three-star athlete Jordan Genmark-Heath received an offer from the Irish staff Jan. 11. The 6-2, 205-pounder committed to California in early October.
Genmark-Heath also holds offers from Northwestern, Oregon State, Vanderbilt, Utah and Washington State, among others.
Genmark-Heath played both sides of the ball as a senior for Cathedral Catholic. On offense, he rushed for 197 yards and eight touchdowns on 47 carries while also adding 291 receiving yards and two scores on 16 receptions. He also recorded 59 tackles, four interceptions and five pass deflections on defense.
Cal is currently without a head coach, so Notre Dame has an opportunity to make a move until the Golden Bears figure out their coaching situation. Genmark-Heath is ranked as the No. 65 athlete in the class and No. 78 player in the state of California by Rivals.
