Notre Dame is back in the Associated Press hoops poll.

The Irish are ranked 25th in the updated media poll. Notre Dame plays two unranked teams this week: at Boston College on Tuesday (7 p.m./ESPNU) and at NC State on Saturday (noon/ESPN).

Notre Dame is one of six ranked Atlantic Coast Conference teams. Louisville is eighth, followed by North Carolina (10), Duke (12), Virginia (14) and Florida State (17).

After losing four straight games from Jan. 24 to Feb. 5, the Irish fell out of the Top 25. Notre Dame has been ranked as high as No. 14 in the poll this season.

Head coach Mike Brey’s team is now 2-6 against teams currently ranked, with wins against No. 8 Louisville and No. 17 Florida State.
