Notre Dame Football: Mid-Week Musings
Today is the first of what I hope becomes a regular column.
Every Wednesday the plan is to share thoughts on the Notre Dame football team, the recruiting efforts of the Fighting Irish program, and finally some musings on upcoming Notre Dame opponents (in season) or issues concerning college football as a whole (offseason).
Sometimes I will be sharing my opinions or analysis of players, sometimes will make predictions, sometimes I will share some inside scoop I have learned, sometimes I will just need to vent. I am open to suggestions on specific topics that you would like to hear about in future articles.
Here. We. Go.
BREAKOUT TIME
After the rough 2017 season for the safeties, the position group went into the 2018 season as the biggest question mark on defense. The position I feel the same about this offseason is running back. There are major questions at the position and the experience isn’t great, but I just have a feeling that when we look back at the 2019 season people will say, “Where did that come from?”
