Notre Dame Football 2023 Scholarship Chart
Here's a look at the 2023 Notre Dame football scholarship chart after the Irish used walk-on wide receiver Jordan Faison in a 33-20 loss at Louisville.
Faison came to Notre Dame on a scholarship with the men's lacrosse program. NCAA rules dictate that scholarship athletes who play multiple sports must count against the program with a larger scholarship allotment once they play in a game for that program.
The Irish remain under the 85-scholarship limit with 84 following the elevation of Faison.
Players are defined from a class standpoint by their year of eligibility in 2023, not by their year in school.
Players in bold have a COVID exemption option available. Players with a + have exercised that COVID exemption to play in 2023. Players with an * have redshirted. Players with a ^ redshirted for the first time primarily because of medical reasons.
