A look at where Notre Dame's commitments and top targets are playing this week as their 2017 regular seasons inch closer to completion with several in playoff battles.

NOTRE DAME COMMITS

Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep (6-2) vs. Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep (2-6) - Irish commits Jayson Ademilola, Justin Ademilola and Shayne Simon look to for the third straight win.

Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local (10-0) vs. Fort Recovery (Ohio) High (6-4) - Offensive line commit John Dirksen and Marion Local open up with 6-4 Fort Recovery in the Ohio Division VI state playoffs.

Ridgely (Md.) North Caroline (9-0) vs. Federalsburg (Md.) Colonel Richardson (6-3) - Ja'Mion Franklin and North Caroline aim to finish the regular season undefeated.

Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township (7-3) at Park Ridge (Ill.) Maine South (10-1) - Wide receiver Micah Jones and Warren Township are in the second round of Class 8A state playoffs.

Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland (10-0) vs. North Huntingdon (Pa.) Norwin (7-2) – Pine-Richland and quarterback Phil Jurkovec will try to move to 11-0 with another dominating win.

Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak (4-5) vs. Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta (4-5) - Linebacker Jack Lamb and Great Oak look to finish the regular season at .500.

Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren (8-2) vs. Mayfield (Ky.) Graves County (6-4) – Defensive tackle Jacob Lacey and South Warren begin their quest to capture a Class 5A state title.

Brentwood (Tenn.) High (9-1) vs. Nashville (Tenn.) McGavock (5-5) - Brentwood and offensive tackle Cole Mabry start the Division Class 6A state playoffs with a .500 McGavock squad.

Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch (9-0) at Reno (Nev.) Galena (5-3) - Junior quarterback commit Cade McNamara and Damonte Ranch try to finish the regular season at 10-0.

Mishawaka (Ind.) Penn (9-1) at Warsaw (Ind.) High (6-4) - Safety target Paul Moala and Mishawaka (Ind.) Penn are in the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs.

Etiwanda (Calif.) High (3-6) vs. La Verne (Calif.) Damien (5-4) – Wide receiver Geordon Porter and Etiwanda look to stop a two-game slide.

Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison (7-3) at Warren (Mich.) Woods-Tower (8-2) - Linebacker Ovie Oghoufo and Harrison aim to move on in Michigan Division III state playoffs.

Sanford (N.C.) Lee County (10-0) vs. Sanford (N.C.) Southern Lee (5-5) – Lee County and running back Jahmir Smith look to continue their dominance on both sides and finish the regular season unbeaten.

Indianapolis Cathedral (5-5) vs. Indianapolis Decatur Central (10-1) -Indianapolis Cathedral and running back Markese Stepp look to move on to the next round of the Class 5A state playoffs.

Naples (Fla.) Gulf Coast (3-3) vs. Naples (Fla.) Golden Gate (2-5) - Tight end George Takacs and Gulf Coast look to get back in the win column.

NOTES:

Safety commit Derrik Allen is out for the season with a broken hand.

Wide receiver commit Kevin Austin and linebacker Matthew Bauer are both on a bye before starting state playoffs.

NOTRE DAME TARGETS

Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson (7-2) at Washington (D.C.) Ballou (6-3) - Cornerback target Noah Boykin aims to lead his team to their seventh straight win.

Milpitas (Calif.) High (9-0) vs. Cupertino (Calif.) Homestead (3-4) - Cornerback Tariq Bracy looks to help his team move to 10-0.

Medford (Ore.) South Medford (8-1) vs. Gresham (Ore.) High (4-4) - South Medford and Notre Dame wide receiver target Chase Cota look to win their seventh straight game.

Ocala (Fla.) Vanguard (8-0) at Orange Park (Fla.) Oakleaf (2-7) - Safety target Avonta Crim and Vanguard look to remain undefeated.

Atlanta Hapeville Charter (8-1) vs. Atlanta KIPP Collegiate (2-6) - Defensive end Kingsley Enagbare (South Carolina commit) and Hapeville Charter look to secure their eighth straight win.

Everett (Wash.) Archbishop Murphy (8-1) vs. Arlington (Wash.) Lakewood (7-2) – Cornerback Kyler Gordon and Archbishop Murphy aim to move to 9-1 on the season.

Anaheim (Calif.) Servite (6-3) vs. at Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei (9-0) - Safety Julius Irvin and Servite look to end a three-game losing streak against the nation’s No. 1 team.

New Orleans McDonogh 35 (6-3) at New Orleans Easton (6-1) - Wide receiver Lawrence Keys and McDonogh 35 aim to bounce back.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei (8-0) at Anaheim (Calif.) Servite (6-3) - Mater Dei and Irish targets — wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, guard Chris Murray and linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu — look to remain No. 1 against Irish safety target Julius Irvin.

Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley (4-4) at Tampa (Fla.) Sickles (2-2) - Offensive tackle Nick Petit-Frere will try to help his Berkeley Prep team get over .500.

NOTES:

Cornerback target Joe Wilkins Jr. is on a bye and heads to South Bend this weekend for an official visit.

Athlete Alontae Taylor's season is over.
