The Notre Dame offers continue to roll out for 2018 class. On Wednesday, the Irish extended their sixth of the week, this one going to St. Louis Lutheran North defensive end Ronnie Perkins.

The three-star prospect also holds offers from Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Missouri, North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M and others.

“He’s excited,” Carl Reed, the head coach at Lutheran North, said. “It’s a school he’s been interested in for a while. He was glad to see that over come through. He’s definitely going to get up there … over the next few weeks.

“I would definitely say he’s interested … with the national prestige and the history of Notre Dame I think if they offer you definitely have to go give it a look and pay close attention.”

Perkins is rated by Rivals as the No. 5 player in Missouri and the No. 16 strongside defensive end in the class of 2018.

Following his junior year, he was named to the Missouri Class Two all-state second-team defense, voted on by the Missouri Football Coaches Association.

Perkins is the seventh strongside defensive end to be offered by Notre Dame in the class of 2018.
