No. 1: Chase Claypool
Claypool, a 6-5, 215-pound three-star receiver reeled in this nice grab that had on-lookers raving. The No. 96 wide receiver nationally is being recruited as both a wide receiver and defensive back by various schools, and the Irish are certainly in the mix.
No. 2: Marquez Callaway
Callaway, a 6-2, 170-pound receiver hauled in this reception below during redzone drills. The four-star — ranked as the No. 21 receiver nationally and No. 115 player in the country — told Blue & Gold Illustrated he plans to visit Notre Dame again, this time with family.
No. 3 & No. 4: Kevin Stepherson.
One of Notre Dame's two new commits from Friday showed out at the recruiting event with a combination of nice routes, cuts and displaying great hands. The 6-1, 180-pound three-star is ranked as the No. 62 wide receiver nationally. The first catch below is versus three-star defensive back Spencer Perry (committed to Florida,) and the second is versus one of the top 2018 defensive backs nationally in Houston Griffith.
No. 5: Craig Yeast II
The only 2017 prospect to make the list, Yeast II holds early offers from Iowa, Maryland, Kentucky and Louisville among others. He finished this catch while being pretty well-defended, and was one of the better overall 2017 prospects on the day.
