Irish Commitment Motivating 2020 TE Kevin Bauman

It only took one visit for Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic 2020 tight end Kevin Bauman to fall in love with Notre Dame and pledge to join the Irish class.

Over a month has passed since the 6-foot-5, 225-pounder committed to Notre Dame, and he hasn’t looked back. In fact, the decision has motivated Bauman even more.

“To be honest, I love it,” Bauman said of being a commit. “I guess you could say it gives me a better opportunity to focus on high school, my team and getting ready for the season. Knowing you’re committed to the university that Notre Dame is both athletically and academically, you have to prove yourself in everything you do. I love being able to work toward something.
