Cathedral Prep continued their dominance to open the 2017 season with a 63-7 win over Erie (Pa.) McDowell (1-2) allowing 190 yards of total offense. The defense has allowed just 14 points in three games.

Franklin put points on the board in a 49-6 win over Salisbury (Md.) Parkside (1-1) by blocking a punt and returning it for a touchdown.

Jurkovec put on another show, registering five total touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Harmony (Pa.) Seneca Valley (0-2). He finished 15 of 22 passing for 254 yards and three touchdowns, and recorded two more scores on the ground per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. All five touchdowns came in the first half.

Brentwood remained undefeated with 42-7 win over Smyrna (Tenn.) Stewarts Creek (2-2).

Oghoufo and Harrison moved to 2-1 on the season with a 47-8 win over Rochester Hills (Mich.) Stoney Creek (1-2). Oghoufo recorded two sacks and pass break-up on defense, and added three catches for 56 yards and a touchdown and a 51-yard rush.

In a 54-7 win over Seattle (Wash.) Bishop Blanchet, Gordon recorded two tackles and an interception on defense. On offense, he had seven carries for 137 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Porter caught two passes for 23 yards in a 73-0 Etiwanda loss to Corona (Calif.) Centennial (2-1).
