NOTRE DAME COMMITS
S DERRIK ALLEN
Allen recorded multiple tackles and had a 40-yard punt return in a 37-14 win over Marietta (Ga.) High.
LB MATTHEW BAUER
Cathedral Prep fell behind 14-7 in the first quarter, but was able to eventually pull away and win big 62-28 win over Cleveland Benedictine (3-1).
OT JOHN DIRKSEN
Marion Local stayed undefeated on the year with a 21-7 win over Minster (Ohio) High (3-1).
DT JA'MION FRANKLIN
Franklin and the North Caroline defense continued their dominance with a 42-0 win over Cambridge (Md.) Cambridge-South Dorchester (0-3). Franklin recovered a fumble per the Times-Record.
QB PHIL JURKOVEC
Completed 16 of 25 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown, per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, in a 43-6 victory over Pittsburgh Penn Hills (3-1). Added 41 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
OT COLE MABRY
Mabry and Brentwood suffered their first loss of the year by way of a 31-23 score to crosstown-rival Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood (4-1).
LB OVIE OGHOUFO
ghoufo took the opening kick 90 yards for a touchdown to spark Harrison on its way to a 49-7 win over Birmingham (Mich.) Seaholm (1-3). He added several tackles on defense and caught a touchdown on offense as well.
2019 NOTRE DAME COMMITS
DT JACOB LACEY
Lacey and the South Warren defense continue to be suffocating and notched a shutout in a 49-0 win over Leitchfield (Ky.) Grayson County (1-4). The unit is averaging just 8.8 points allowed per game.
QB CADE MCNAMARA
Completed 23 of 42 passes for 365 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in 34-3 Damonte Ranch win over Sparks (Nev.) Spanish Springs (2-2).
NOTRE DAME TARGETS
CB DONTE BURTON
Fell 17-14 to Winder (Ga.) Winder-Barrow (4-0).
WR LAWRENCE KEYS
McDonogh 35 won 29-0 over Reserve (La.) East St. John (2-2).
WR GEORDON PORTER
Porter had four receptions for 48 yards in a 31-14 loss to Hesperia (Calif.) Oak Hills (2-2).
OL SAM TAIMANI
Taimani and East picked up a 57-13 win over Saratoga Springs (Utah) Westlake (0-5). Taimani recorded three total tackles.
