Grace delivers the news

Jarrett Grace was blown away in January when Notre Dame extended a scholarship offer. But, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound linebacker from Cincinnati, Ohio wasn't quite ready to end the recruiting process.
Grace visited South Bend in March for junior day and he returned to campus on Saturday for the annual Blue-Gold Game. He decided the time was right to make his commitment to head coach Brian Kelly.

"I'm part of the Irish now," Grace said. "It's the full package and everything I could dream for."
Kelly and his staff began recruiting Grace last year when they were still at the University of Cincinnati. Grace said that relationship influenced his decision.
"I've known them since they started recruiting me at Cincinnati and under coach Kelly Notre Dame is going to win a lot of games."
As a junior Grace racked up 92 tackles and picked off two passes. He becomes the sixth verbal commitment in the Irish recruiting class of 2011, joining Notre Dame's haul on the same day as defensive lineman Tony Springmann.
