"I just set it up," he said.
Cuffee, who was at the Irish Invasion back in June, said that he has been in constant contact with Irish defensive backs coach Todd Lyght, and the relationship between the two is one of the reasons why he wants to visit campus — again.
"I talk to Coach Lyght quite a bit. I just told him that I really want to be down there, because I feel like it's going to be a great game and I just want to see the type of environment there," Cuffee said. "It's an official visit, so it's a time for me to get to see more."
Cuffee doesn't plan to make a decision until the Under Armour All-American Game in early January, but he admitted that he likes what the Irish have to offer as a school.
"Notre Dame set a pretty high standard for me," he said. "I thought everything was great when I visited before."
The 5-11, 190-pound cornerback is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 51 prospect in the state of Texas. He has also set visits to Auburn, Texas and Texas A&M.
