Commitment Wrap-Up: 2019 QB Cade McNamara

On Monday, Note Dame picked up its first commitment in the class of 2019 when Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch quarterback Cade McNamara announced his Irish pledge via Twitter.

McNamara announced his commitment on Twitter late Monday afternoon. You can read BGI's initial commitment story HERE.

After announcing his decision, McNamara spoke with BGI about led him to pull the trigger on a commitment.

“For me it was just that Notre Dame checked all the boxes,” McNamara explained. “I absolutely love Notre Dame, and as soon I stepped on campus I knew there was something special with Notre Dame. Coach Kelly and Coach Rees really emphasized the description of a quarterback and I feel like that fit me perfect.”
