Blue & Gold Illustrated was on the scene Friday night as Notre Dame safety commit Derrik Allen and Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter defeated Marietta (Ga.) High 37-14.

BGI caught up with Allen after the game to discuss the four-star's senior season, his official visit to Notre Dame, his relationship with defensive coordinator Mike Elko and more.
