BGI Content Recap: Tennessee Recruiting Road Trip

Blue & Gold Illustrated was on the road in Tennessee this week, and has met with several Notre Dame prospects in the Nashville area to discuss their Irish recruitments and more.

MONDAY 

Monday started with a trip to Thompsons Station (Tenn.) Independence to visit with three-star wide receiver TJ Sheffield.

In the video below, Sheffield discussed his Jan. 27 visit to Notre Dame, his relationship with receivers coach DelVaughn Alexander and the five schools standing out the most to him as he heads into his senior year.

Later Monday morning, BGI met with four-star Rivals250 defensive end Joseph Anderson — a top target for the Irish.

In the video below, Anderson went in depth on his Notre Dame recruitment, his plans for a return trip to South Bend, the Irish coaches’ message to him and much more.

TUESDAY 

Tuesday began with a visit to Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth to sit down with four-star defensive back Wesley Walker, who visited Notre Dame for Junior Day Jan. 27.

In the video below, Walker discussed the latest on his Irish interest and his recruitment overall.

Tuesday wrapped up with a visit to Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Oakland to visit with four-star defensive back Woodi Washington, Rvals’ No. 31 overall player in the class of 2019.

In the video below, Washington discussed what he likes about the Irish, plans for an eventual trip to South Bend and who his top schools are at this stage of his recruitment.

COMING UP 

BGI will be in Bowling Green, Ky., Wednesday to visit Notre Dame 2019 defensive tackle commit Jacob Lacey.
