Anzalone stays true to Irish

Four-star linebacker Alex Anzalone reconfirmed his commitment to Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder from Wyomissing, Pa., originally committed to Ohio State in April then switched to the Irish in July. That commitment was tested in recent weeks, but the nation's 48th best player appears to be done with the recruiting process.

Anzalone posted a personal statement on Twitter:
"I want to reaffirm my commitment to #NotreDame and shut down my recruitment completely with all other schools."
Anzalone, who led Wyomissing Area High School to a 10-0 regular season record, is expected to enroll at Notre Dame in January.
Entering the playoffs, Anzalone has rushed for 810 yards on just 89 carries with 18 touchdowns. He has one reception for 56 yards and a score.
