Analysis: Notre Dame WR Commit Michael Young

Notre Dame picked up a commitment from Destrehan (La.) wide receiver Michael Young, a player the Irish staff identified early on as a must-get at the position.

Young is a slot receiver, and the 5-11, 175-pound pass catcher has the skills to compete for playing time very early on in his career.

Young is Notre Dame's 17th commitment from the Class of 2017.
