2021 RB Bryce Edmondson Reviews Notre Dame Visit
Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth 2021 running back Bryce Edmondson is still waiting on his first offer, but Notre Dame is well aware of him after his visit to campus this weekend.
he 6-foot, 202 pound Edmondson said the trip to South Bend was a memorable one.
“It was great,” Edmondson told Blue & Gold Illustrated. “I got to watch the spring game, meet some of the coaches and see how the head coach talked to the players. He treats them like family.”
According to Edmondson, Irish safeties coach Terry Joseph is friends with a coach at Ensworth and the visit was facilitated through that.
Edmondson has had his eye on Notre Dame for a while and was excited to get to campus.
“I’m interested in Notre Dame and I just wanted to go up there,” Edmondson said. “That’s how it came along.”
The Tennessee talent said he came away impressed with the Notre Dame coaching staff and how they handle their business.
“How they pointed out the academics and how the staff treated the players like family,” Edmondson said of what stood out about the visit. “I loved how they interacted with them.”
Edmondson was of course in attendance for the Blue-Gold game Saturday, and said it was one of the best spring game experiences he’s had.
“It was great,” Edmondson said of the game. “There were way more fans compared to another spring game I went to. It seems like they have a big fan base that loves the football atmosphere up there.”
Following the trip, Edmondson said he is planning to return for Notre Dame for one of the camps this summer.
Should Notre Dame ever deicide to offer him, Edmondson said he’d be ecstatic.
"That would mean a lot, especially knowing that they’re a huge football program and a big academic school,” Edmondson said. “It would be on the top of my list. That would be huge.”
