Notre Dame seems to have made a strong impression on three-star cornerback Landen Bartleson of Danville (Ky.) Boyle County.

Coming out of the visit, Bartleson said he enjoyed every aspect of his time at Notre Dame.

“It was really nice,” Bartleson said. “It was good to get on campus, get around the coaches and players and make connections. I had a really good time.”

Of course the visit was focused on football, but Bartleson said it was what he learned about Notre Dame off the field that caught his attention.

“At the end of the day, football ends,” Bartleson explained. “It’s not going to last forever, so the student-athlete part of the visit really stood out to me. They gave us plenty of presentations and showed a whole lot of really good things about the school.”

Bartleson spent most of the day meeting with defensive backs coach Todd Lyght.
