Kelly lines up visits
San Antonio - Kendall Kelly is in unique company when it comes to this week's US Army All-American Bowl participants.
The four-star wide receiver from Gadsden (Ala.) City has yet to take his first official visit.
"I am going to be busy taking visits in January, though," he explained. "I am going to visit Alabama on Jan. 9th, Clemson on the 16th and LSU on the 23rd. I am going to take one more visit after the LSU trip, but I haven't decided on where that will be yet."
Florida, Florida State, Oregon and Auburn are all in the running for Kelly's last visit.
What is he looking for in a college?
"I want to make sure I fit in with the offense," Kelly said. "It has to be a place that I can see myself living for four years. And I want to make sure I get along with not only their current players, but also the freshmen that are going to be coming in next year."
Kelly suffered a pulled groin just prior to his senior season. He missed one game and played the rest of the season at less than 100 percent.
Back to full health, Kelly is anxious to test himself against the nation's elite in San Antonio this week.
"Coming out here, I want to see how good I am compared to a bunch of different wide receivers and defensive backs from across the country," he said. "I want to see where I stand."
