State of Arkansas loaded at WR
In the first release of the state of Arkansas Top 10 (it likely will be expanded as the cycle continues), there are four wide receivers listed, including the state's top overall prospect, Joe Adams of Central Arkansas Christian in Little Rock.
Adams was impressive at the Fort Worth NIKE Camp in April. He won the camp MVP at wide receiver, edging out Rivals100 prospects Jeff Fuller and Dan Buckner and showed advanced quickness and route running.
Adams holds offers from Arkansas, Southern California, Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Clemson and others.
Williams is committed to Arkansas while Wright holds offers from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas Tech and Tulsa. Childs also has an impressive list of offers that includes Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Mississippi State and Tulsa.
Youngblood was an early commitment to Arkansas while Wilson has scholarship offers from multiple programs, including LSU.
Another Camden Fairview prospect, all-purpose running back De'Anthony Curtis, checks in at No. 2 on the list. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Curtis is a speedy running back and brilliant receiver out of the backfield. The nation's second-ranked all-purpose back, Curtis has run 4.41 or better every time he has been timed in the 40-yard dash.
He's also got an impressive offer list that includes current leaders Arkansas and Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Clemson, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tulsa and Texas Tech.
Another all-purpsoe running back, Texarkana's Dennis Johnson led his team to the state championship last year. He checks in at No. 9. The 5-foot-8, 180-pounder has offers from Arkansas, Texas Tech, Louisiana Tech and Tulsa.
Dardanelle's Matt Hall is the lone offensive lineman in the top 10. The 6-foot-10, 320-pounder committed to Arkansas very early in the process and has an excellent set of physical tools and big upside. He is the No. 3 overall prospect on the list.
A third Camden Fairview prospect, defensive tackle Lavunce Askew, checks in at No. 8. Askew has piled up an impressive list of offers that includes Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas Tech and Washington, among others.
