Top 2011 athlete picking up offers

Angleton has rolled to easy wins the first two weeks of the season. However, that was expected for the Houston-area's No. 1-ranked Class 4A team. They returned a ton of talent from last year's playoff squad, led by junior quarterback/defensive back Quandre Diggs.

The 5-foot-10, 188-pound Diggs has started on varsity for the Wildcats since his freshman year. He comes from an athletic family as he is the younger brother of former University of Texas and current San Diego Charger cornerback Quentin Jammer. He has earned plenty of recognition of his own, however, and he is now being rewarded with college scholarship offers.
