Thomas-Kelly is next top Lufkin prospect
Lufkin is always one of the teams in the largest classification in Texas and the Panthers do more than their fare share of pumping out top Division I recruits. With four-star cornerback Carrington Byndom committed to Texas and wide receiver Quinn Trimble among the top receivers in the state, 2010 is no exception.
However, colleges have already taken notice of several members of the Pack's upcoming junior class. Quarterback Deuntre Smiley has yet to start a game, but wowed observers during the spring. The top class of 2011 prospect for Lufkin appears to be defensive end Darrell Thomas-Kelly, though, and he is already hearing from the top schools in the region.
