2011 receiver grabs another offer
The city of Arlington, Texas is quickly gaining a reputation for cranking out top notch high school prospects such as Matt Joeckel and Luke Joeckel from Arlington High, Ja'Terian Douglas from Arlington Lamar and Ciante Evans from Arlington Seguin. The class of 2011 looks to be no exception and another school, Arlington Sam Houston, is adding to the pipeline with a couple of highly touted prospects. Though they do not have the history or the gridiron reputation as the other programs in the city, they boast a handful of juniors who are already high on college radars.
Their top prospect is wide receiver Kameel Jackson, who had 54 catches for 761 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He has been busy this offseason tearing up camp after camp and was named the top wideout at Schumann's Ultimate 100 Camp this past weekend.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Jackson already has verbal offers from Oklahoma, Tulsa, Tennessee and Texas A&M. The offer from A&M cornerback coach Charles McMillian, who recruits the Arlington area for the Aggies, was the latest and came on Tuesday.
