Scarlett shines at OSU camp

With the talk recently all about the Class of 2010 prospects, it is never too early to start looking at the very best for future classes. Oregon State has taken great pride over the years with the strength of the defensive line, led by Coach Joe Seumalo. With two defensive ends selected in the fourth round of this year's NFL Draft, the Beavers are always looking for the best and one of the top defensive ends in the Class of 2011 is located in their backyard.

Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic defensive end Brennan Scarlett is a name Beaver fans should become learn. The talented 6-foot-4, 240 pound defensive end stole the show at the Barton Marketing Workout held in May, over-matching many older, stronger athletes and prompting recruiting interest to pick up.

With plans already on the calendar to attend the USC Rising Stars Camp, Scarlett attended Oregon State's Premier Performance Camp held last Friday inside the Truax Center. It was his second straight year at the event and he once again walked away impressed.
