Bell takes positives from all-star experience

Several Michigan commitments participated in national all-star games over the weekend, including Youngstown (Ohio) Liberty safety Isaiah Bell, who had an impressive showing in the Under Armour All-American Game. Looking back on the experience, he was pleased with how he performed.

"I had a great time," stated the Michigan verbal. "I think it proved I deserve a spot up there nationally. I had tackles, I had a couple pass break ups, so I think I did alright."

One of the more challenging aspects for many college freshmen is the transition that must take place from going against much weaker high school competition. By facing off against elite talent from around the nation, Bell feels that he received a helpful preview of what he will face in the future.
