Carter a 'need' for West Virginia

It is not often that Michael Carter gets triple-teamed, seeing as he's a cornerback and all, but West Virginia did just that Wednesday when Mountaineer assistant coaches Doc Holliday, David Lockwood and Lonnie Galloway paid a visit to the Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely 4-star's school.

Holliday has been beating the recruiting palm branches in South Florida for almost the entirety of his nearly three decades in the coaching field; Lockwood has seen the turn-around in Mountaineer pass defense fortunes this year in his return to his WVU alma mater, and Galloway completed his initial regular season as mentor of the wide receivers.
