Three-star to set visits after season

Three-star defensive end Iuta Tepa (6-3, 238, 4.7) from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly has continued his fine play that saw his stock soar his senior year. He is currently a soft verbal committal to Hawai'i, but he has seen his offers rise to eight because of his outstanding play this season.

Besides his offer from Hawai'i, Tepa also has written offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State and UCLA.

"I set some visits, but I canceled them because of my games," Tepa said. "I was going to visit Colorado with Stan ( Stanjarivus McKay) and I was going to visit Hawai'i, but we had a playoff game. I will reschedule my visits after the season."

"I'm not sure at this time where or who my other visits will be," Tepa said. "I have to get together with my coach. I'm going to need to take all my visits before I can ever think of making my college choice firm."

In 13 games, Tepa has accounted for 87 tackles and 13 sacks. What makes his statistics even more impressive he has been playing on a sore ankle while being double and tripled teamed all season long.
