Will Jackson arrive in January?

Toby Jackson fell just short last summer academically and he was forced to attend Hargrave Military Academy this fall instead of the University of Georgia. His goal when he got there was to get to Athens in January 2009, so will that goal be achieved?

"I do not have my needed score yet, but I will be taking the ACT one more time in December to see if I can make it to Georgia in January," said Jackson.

"I think I am taking it on December 14, so I hope to get my score back quickly. I think they can rush them back like in a week, so I should know something before it is too late."

It will come down to the wire for the 6-foot-4, 260 pound defensive end out of Griffin (GA). He has worked hard, he is focused on getting to Georgia, and he will do what is needed to play in red and black next fall.

"I want to be there at the mid year so I can go through spring practice and all that, but I will stay at Hargrave for the full year if I need to. I will do whatever it takes to get qualified and to get to Georgia."
