Lokombo has great trip

Linebacker Boseko Lokombo recently returned from an official visit to check out the Oregon Duck program as the Ducks defeated the Arizona Wildcats. Lokombo, who played at South Eugene as a junior before his family moved back to Canada, was already fairly familiar with the Ducks. Duck Sports Authority caught up with him earlier this week to see how his visit went and if he saw anything new.

"My visit was great," Bo told us. "My player host was Josh Kaddu. We have a lot in common. His parents came from Africa just like mine. His parents came from Uganda. We connected really well. The students made me a sign, it said, `Bo knows Eugene is home.'"

Lokombo had already seen the football facilities, but the living facilities for athletes were new to him. "I saw the dorms and they are pretty big. I saw a lot of things on the campus that I haven't seen before," Bo said.
