here.

The Next Generation of Bulldogs

CHRIS BURNETTE - OL (Guard) - 6-3, 285

Burnette Says: Off last week

Our Thoughts: Burnette is a versatile lineman with great feet, good technique, and he will play guard at UGA. He also has a 4.5 GPA.

Next: At home against Shaw Oct. 24

WASHAUN EALEY - RB - 5-11, 200, 4.5

Ealey Says: "We won the game 35-12 and we had a good game. I had 254 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns. Our team played really good this week."

Our Thoughts: Ealey is a back with great visit, great cut back ability, and great body lean. He can run tough on the inside or burst outside.

Next: At Metter OCT 24

MICHAEL GILLIARD - LB - 6-1, 205, 4.5

Gilliard Says: Off this week.

Our Thoughts: Gilliard is an athlete just growing into a linebacker. He can run, he is good in pursuit, and he is only going to get better.

Next: Home vs. Coffee Oct. 24

TOBY JACKSON - DE - 6-4, 255, 4.79

Jackson Says: "We beat Radford 58-0 and I only got to play a quarter this week. I had a couple of sacks and I think played good, but I did not play that much."

Our Thoughts: Jackson will make an impact in Athens the minute he steps on campus. He is explosive off the ball and he plays both the run and pass well.

Next: Home against Fork Union OCT 31

ABRY JONES - DT - 6-3, 273

Jones Says: Off last week

Our Thoughts: Jones is a DL that has an extremely high ceiling. He is quick, he is a great technician, and he will make the move inside at UGA.

Next: Hosting Tift County Oct. 23

DALLAS LEE - OL (Guard/Center) - 6-4, 290

Lee Says: "We played an awesome game against Thomson. It was very muddy and rainy this game. I had 15 tackles and 3 sacks on defense and I had 2 or 3 domination blocks on offense. We out hit them at every position and we just kept playing hard together."

Our Thoughts: Lee is a very strong and very physical player in the trenches. He is athletic enough to help UGA on DL if needed, but they like him as an inside OL right now.

Next: Blessed Trinity at home OCT 24

AUSTIN LONG - OL (Tackle) - 6-5, 270

Long Says: "We got beat 48-7 and we got whipped by a very good team. We made a lot of mistakes and our QB Chris Campbell got hurt playing defense in the first quarter. I thought I played good - I had about 8 pancakes and didn't allow a sack."

Our Thoughts: Long was a huge get for UGA at offensive tackle. He has great feet, long arms, he is very athletic, and he still has room to fill out physically.

Next: At ECS on OCT 31

DERRICK LOTT - DL - 6-5, 273

Lott Says: "We won 21-14 against McEachern. I had 12 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 blocked passes, and 2 tackles for a loss."

Our Thoughts: Lott could be the most athletic lineman in Georgia. He has great size, feet, athleticism, and potential. He needs to continue to learn the position, improve his technique, and add strength, but his future is bright.

Next: Hosting Marietta OCT 24

JORDAN LOVE - Corner - 6-0, 185, 4.43

Love Says:"We beat Patrick Henry 27-9 this week. I had 8 tackles and I forced 2 fumbles in this game. I did not play offense this week, the coaches just held me out."

Our Thoughts: Love is a big corner that plays very physical. He grew up playing RB, so that toughness translates over to the corner position. He has good hips and athleticism too.

Next: At Mills E. Godwin OCT 24

Arthur Lynch - TE - 6-5, 240, 4.7

Fontaine Says: "We beat Barnstable 36-29 and I had 10 tackles, 2 sacks, and a couple of tackles for loss on defense. On offense, I had some nice blocks and I caught a pass for 10 yards."

Our Thoughts: Lynch is the complete package at tight end. He has the size everyone looks for and he has soft hands and nice blocking skills.

Next: New Bedford OCT 24

ZACH METTENBERGER - QB - 6-5, 229

Mettenberger Says: "Hart County beat us 28-17. I had one touchdown passing and one touchdown running and I threw two interceptions that they returned for touchdowns. One time, the receiver tripped when I threw it and the other time, I got drilled while throwing it. I finished 18-33 for 201 yards."

Our Thoughts: Mettenberger is a true gunslinger at QB. He has one of the strongest arms in the country, he has no problems seeing down field, and he can make any throw.

Next: At Eastside OCT 24

DEXTER MOODY - LB - 6-1, 205, 4.5

Moody Says: "We beat Johnson County 35-12 and we all had a good game, especially WaShaun - he broke the state touchdown record. I had 9 tackles and 2 sacks on defense. On offense, I had about 30 yards rushing and a big diving catch that they called because of a penalty."

Our Thoughts: Moody is one of the top athletes in Georgia. He plays the game at a high speed and very aggressive. He loves to hit and attack.

Next: At Metter OCT 24

AARON MURRAY - QB - 6-1, 205, 4.64

Plant defeated Hillsborough 44-28 last Thursday, but Murray went down with an injury late in the second quarter. He threw for 205 yards and 3 touchdowns and added 95 yards rushing an another touchdown before dislocating his ankle and breaking his fibula.

Our Thoughts: Murray may be the most accurate QB in the country. He throws with touch, he is very consistent, he is a winner, and he brings a lot to the table.

Next: At Leto OCT 24

CHASE VASSER - LB - 6-4, 219, 4.58

Vasser Says: "We lost to White County and we gave them the game. I had a fumble recovery for a touchdown and I finished with 12 tackles."

Our Thoughts: Vasser looks the part physically and he plays with a lot of intensity. He has great range, very good speed, and he is really coming into his own at linebacker.

Next: Away at North Hall OCT 24

SHAWN WILLIAMS - Safety - 6-1, 200, 4.5

Williams Says: "We played good this week, but we lost to Fitzgerald 21-6. I had 8 tackles on defense and I played quarterback some on offense too. It was just to get me the ball a little. I had a pretty good game."

Our Thoughts: Williams is a very athletic safety. He has great ball skills, he can play inside the box against the run, and he can drop back into coverage. He looks like a LB, but is a very sound safety.

Next: At Albany Oct. 24

Rantavious Wooten - WR - 5-10, 158, 4.5

Wooten Says: Off last week.

Our Thoughts: Wooten is exactly what Georgia needs in this class. He is someone very dangerous in space that that makes people miss. He plays bigger than his size and he has great quickness and acceleration.
