Lokombo narrowing choices

The last time Duck Sports Authority spoke to Boseko Lokombo, he was living in Eugene and attending high school there. Several things have changed for the Oregon Ducks' 6'3, 215 linebacker target since then.

"I am going to W.J. Mouat High School in Abbotsford, British Columbia," Lokombo told us. "I went home on a vacation this summer to BC. I had a problem with my visa because it was for only one year. I couldn't renew it, so my family decided to move back to Canada so I could finish my high school here."

According to Boseko, the level of competition in British Columbia isn't too much of a drop off from that which he faced in Oregon. "My football team is good here. We play a college rules which is four down football. The play is good, but maybe not as fast as you would see at the 6A level in Oregon."
