Ambles is one hot junior

Has a prospect ever burst onto the scene the way 2010 wide receiver Markeith Ambles has this summer? Ambles shined at the NIKE Camp in Tuscaloosa in May before hitting the camp circuit this summer. He has now attended seven camps and left with six offers. He went from being unknown to being considered one of the best at his position.

"I have camped at Alabama, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Auburn and all of them offered me at their camp except for Auburn," said Ambles.

"Most of the time the offers would happen right after or during the one-on-one drills. I have done real well against the defensive backs and the coaches would pull me to the side or send me to the head coach and they would offer me."

"At the end of the camp, they would give me their card and tell me to call them when I got home, so I would call and they would officially offer me then. They all have told me that I will get a written offer sent to me on September 1 (the first day written offers can go out to juniors)."

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound junior is expected to produce this season at a new school. He transferred into Henry County from Griffin and the new offense is one that spreads it out and throws it a lot. He will be lining up across from highly touted senior receiver Jamal Patterson and catching passes from Division I quarterback prospect Drew Little.
