Love's closing in on decision

It is down to three schools for Virginia defensive back Jordan Love. If the three schools want to make one last impression on this talented athlete, then they better get on it because he may only be days away from making his decision.

"I definitely still plan to commit this month," said Love. "It is still down to Georgia, Florida, and Penn State. It is going to be one of those three."

Two of those schools received unofficial visits, so what does that mean for the one that he did not visit?

"I tried to get to Florida two different times, but it did not work out. I know some things about Florida, so I am just going to make my decision without visiting them."

The Bulldogs, Gators, and Nittany Lions are the finalists for the 6-foot-0, 185-pound corner, so what does he like about each school?

Georgia: "I enjoyed my visit down there and I had a good feeling when around the coaches. They are really good people and they are like parents to the players."

Florida: "They have great athletes there and they play good football. I like them playing in the SEC and I know I would go up against great players in practice and games there."

Penn State: "They have a lot of tradition there at that school. Coach Paterno gives it that old school feel."

All three schools have been on Love's mind for some time, but only one will be getting his attention on the near future.
