Vols Snag Commitment From In-State OL

It's that time of year when football camps are going on at college campuses across the nation and that usually means you can count on some commitment news. That was the case in Knoxville this morning where Tennessee picked up a verbal commitment from Rhea Co. offensive lineman Kevin Revis following his camp appearance.

Revis (6-foot-4, 261 pounds, 5.1 40-yard dash) becomes the Vols' fifth commitment in the Class of 2009. More importantly to the dimensions of the class, he becomes the first offensive lineman to commit in a group that thus far has been heavy on skill players.

Revis, from Evensville, Tenn. becomes the second in-state commitment among the five future Vols along with Henry Co. fullback Dominique Allen.
