Georgia Safety Talks Unofficial Visit
We won't know whether it all paid off for nearly 10 more months, but say this for Tennessee's coaching staff, they've done the work to get prospects to campus this spring. One of the noteworthy names who drifted through Knoxville last week for an unofficial visit was Atlanta, Ga. safety Darren Myles.
#3 - ATH - Carver AtlantaMyles (6-foot-3, 180 pounds, 4.49 40-yard dash) has already emerged as one of those names that is sure to be familiar to recruiting fans around the SEC before Signing Day '09 arrives. He's already holding firm offers from big-time programs all over the South and beyond. And like more and more top-shelf prospects these days, he's doing his best to get an early first-hand look at those programs showing serious interest in him.
He was in Knoxville last week for the latest stop in what has been a hectic touring schedule. He's also found time to make to Florida, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia. He's holding offers from all those programs, as well as from Michigan and Notre Dame among others.
